With strong, long-standing connections throughout the New Zealand food and pet-food industries, we also assist in identifying, validating, and managing co-manufacturing partners. About our company

Westlake Innovation was founded in 2020 by Jonathan (Jono) Cox.

Jonathan is well known and respected throughout the New Zealand Food and Pet Food industries. He has over 25 years of experience in Product & Process Development in meat and petfood products including time at Mars Incorporated, ANZCO Foods, King Country Pet Food and Hellers Smallgoods.

He is a Fellow and past-President of the New Zealand Institute of Food Science & Technology (NZIFST) and regularly gives guest Lectures at universities around the country.
